Project Caua will be replacing desktop systems that use 250-350 watts (or more) watts of electrical power with thin clients that use less than ten watts of power. These thin clients have no fan and no disk, and therefore have a lifetime of nine or ten years (or more). These thin clients can be left on all the time, and therefore act as not only your "computer", but also your TV (iptv), your stereo (ipradio), your calendar, your alarm clock, your telephone (voip) and your security system. Server systems with expandable, re-usable parts will provide the extra CPU, memory and disk storage capacity needed over time.
